I know many of you love writing and want to improve your English, and I think journalling is a fantastic way to practise your writing and language skills in a personal, non-judgmental and creative way.
Journalling allows you to express your thoughts freely, without the pressure of perfection.

Here are 10 journalling prompts specifically for English learners like you.
These prompts will help you think in English, practise new words, and express your thoughts clearly.
1. **Describe Your Day**: Write about your daily routine or something special that happened today. What did you do in the morning? What was the highlight of your day?
2. **Favourite Hobbies**: What hobbies do you enjoy? Why do you like them? Perhaps you love painting, cooking, or reading. Describe how you feel when you do your favourite activities.
3. **Travel Dreams**: Imagine you could travel anywhere in the world. Where would you go? What would you do there? Who would you take with you?
4. **A Special Memory**: Write about a memory that is very special to you. It could be from your childhood or a recent event. Explain why this memory is important.
5. **Goals for the Future**: Think about your future. What are your goals or dreams? Do you want to learn new skills, travel, or start a business? Write about your plans and ambitions.
6. **Describe a Person You Admire**: Who is someone you look up to? It could be a family member, a teacher, or a famous person. Describe their qualities and why you admire them.
7. **A Difficult Decision**: Write about a time when you had to make a difficult decision. What were the options, and how did you choose? How did you feel afterwards?
8. **A Letter to Your Future Self**: Write a letter to yourself five years from now. What advice would you give? What do you hope to achieve or experience by then?
9. **Describe your favourite place and why you like it**: Do you have a favourite place? Why do you like it so much and how do you feel about it? It could be a holiday destination, a house you've lived in, a city or an area in your city/hometown you like.
10. **Write about a book or movie that has inspired you**: Is there a book or a movie that holds a special place in your memory? Why? It could be a childhood tv show or the first movie you went to see with your partner/family, a tv show you like to watch to relax or a book that changed your life.
These prompts are designed to get you thinking and writing in English.
Don’t worry about making mistakes; the most important thing is to practise and enjoy the process.
